As a solicitor and legal consultant, I provide legal services through other law firms.

Unti recently I was running my own law firm but in April 2026 this was taken over by my colleague, Richard Mills, of  Mills & Co. where I continue to work as a consultant.

My role primarily involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts for commercial clients, in particular in the construction and engineering industries.

My approach is pragmatic and I focus on the commercial interests of the client.  And, when drafting contracts, I use plain English and keep legal jargon to a minimum (while still protecting the client’s interests).

Operating largely via the internet from a home office, with regular use of Teams meetings, the client gets a personal,  cost-effective service.
